ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a flatbed load broker, you’re the main point of contact between drivers, clients & office staff during your shift. Your main responsibilities will include monitoring our P & N flatbed division, building loads for our CAN & US runs, answering calls and assisting drivers with ELD training & eLog corrections.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in logistics or dispatch within the transportation industry
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in the transportation industry
• Be able to build loads LTL or full-time loads between Canada & the US
• Experience working with E-Logs programs (Omnitracs experience would be an asset)
• Strong, proven computer background with good command of MS Office, Word & Excel.
• Understanding of Hours of Service and MTO regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the monitoring and administration of E-logs
• Building loads LTL or full-time loads between Canada & the US
• Manage the utilization of fleet and monitor drivers’ hours of service
• Take client requests and provide timely responses and quotes/rates
• Prepare daily reports on your duties, shipments and issues that arise
• Follow-up on client payments, carrier deliveries & claims
• Be a professional and positive representation of our company and ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate pickups & deliveries between client locations and drivers
• Active involvement with problem-solving of issues presented
• Recognize and address potential scheduling challenges
• Purchasing and selling loads
• Main point of contact for customers and drivers during shift
• Other duties as assigned
