This week, P & N’s very own Kevin Fowler was interviewed by the Sherbrooke local newspaper, The Record. During the interview, Kevin was asked about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the transportation & logistics industry; especially when it comes to drivers who are faced with difficulties to complete their jobs comfortably because of the closures and limitations of essential truck stops and roadside restaurants. You can read all about what Kevin had to say in Gordon Lambie’s article above, “Truckers facing new trials on the road”.
Here at P & N, we like to think of the road ahead. So we are already starting to gear up for next winter, with some brand new heated trailers. These trailers are perfect for food transportation and are one step towards our goal of offering heated transportation services starting in winter 2020/2021.
This week, we received our brand-new Di-Mond food grade trailers! These trailers will help us continue to deliver exceptional customer service and our best quality assurance for food-based goods transportation.
2020 is here, and what better way to celebrate than with a new truck?
After 5 million miles on the road, it was time for one of our trucks to get a massive overhaul. Everything from the exterior to the interior is getting ripped out, restored and/or replaced- this truck won’t even be recognizable when we’re through with it. It’s a huge project that will take several hundred man hours before it’s completion. We decided to start by tackling the heart of the truck: The engine.
